I'm 16 and figured out my HID kit out just fine. Don't assume and don't be a prick. You're not a stud, not a hero, and are not being helpful. Don't come at me for the "moron" when this other guy is jumping down my throat calling me an idiot for my suggestion. Im glad you were able to figure out a simple plug and play hid kit lol, sometimes those 2 different plugs get confusing. You are coming at me but your the one in the first place who suggested that if he did what i told him to it would blow up lol. I still think its funny you guys are getting it confused that I told him to cut wires. pretty big difference in cutting a wire and eliminating a slot on the plug just to allow male connecter to fit the female. Then again he called me a idiot but hes the one having trouble with a plug and play system.
Either way, chose to work on your own ride as you will. I was simply giving him a suggestion so that he could get his kit working without having to take it all back out and start the whole ordering and returning process over. My suggestion was totally safe and wouldn't harm a thing. The only reasons they have those slots in the plugs is so that you don't mistake and take a high beam bulb and put it in your low beam housing.
