HID's overheating!

I'm on my second set of HID's from HIDnation.com, and so far BOTH kits seem to be giving me problems! My HID ballast would get extremely hot and smoke when on for longer than a few seconds!

Am I doing something wrong, or has anyone else had this problem with their kits from HIDNation?

Re: HID's overheating!

1st time hearing that problem on the WK.

im assuming you are sure its the ballast and not the bulb?
Best advice is go for another brand.

Xenondepot or DDM if on a budget

That may be my next move. I'll have to take the $130 loss because all sales are final.

Fixed. I had a bad ground and some corrosion on the battery. Bought a new battery, got a solid ground and now everything works fine. Thanks for the help.
