Idle Problems still after full tune up

Hey Jeep Enthusiasts The idle on my 1995 jeep GCL 4.0 is erratic at times lost 4 MPG . New sparks, cap rotor, air filter fuel filter STI wires...the idle dips to low 400 when coming to a stop. almost stalls...Idle adjustment? it seems like the early sxs that can lead to break down Thanks Rob

What area of the country are you driving in when this happens?
I had a 95ZJ 4.0 that ran smoothly and passed 4wd dyno based emissions with flying colors, but on a trip to Los Angeles absolutely refused to run on that dreck they sell as gasoline--even premium gasoline. After leaving the area and filling up in Primm Nevada, all the driveability demons were exorcised back to LA.

STI wires? Presumably all new factory spark plug wires?

Catalysts getting old? Clogged?

O2 sensors checked?

CPS?

Fuel pressure regulator?

Fuel line pressure?

Injectors dirty/clogged?

Any aftermarket exhaust parts?

Running with aftermarket too low temperature thermostat?

What do the emissions look like, presuming you can get someone to check them...

Compression check?

Running midgrade or regular? Mine always ran better on midgrade, sometimes a bit of stumble on regular in northern California.

Key dance yield any codes? [unfortunately you are OBD-1]

Thanks for recent reply...still learning how to use this forum...It appears to be the Idle air intake control valve...repalcement pending part arrival...$33...could have just cleaned with carb cleaner but decided to replace with oem...again thanks for the input
