installed hids, now windows dont work, headlights dont work.

Recently installed hids in highbeam, lowbeams and fog lights on my 2006 grand Cherokee. They worked fine other than when I turned lights off and they strobed for a minute, found out I needed some kind of warning cancelers. So I but then and install, as soon as I turnee on headlights the warning boxes exploded and now my windows don't work, one headlight doesn't work, windshield wipers don't work. Got dtcs from tuner and one was something about canbus circuit malfunction. Any help would be great, thanks.

Re: installed hids, now windows dont work, headlights dont work.

I had a couple main fuses blow when I tried using some cheap cancellers for a set of HIDs I had. It wouldn't do anything at all. I forget the fuse number now as it's been a few years. I'd start with checking all the fuses under the hood and then get a better quality HID kits

Too many mods to list for each, so let's just say a lot was done over the years.

Thank you, I will start with that, and I'm done with the hids, just going with regular super white bulbs. This is ridiculous over some dang headlights.

Re: installed hids, now windows dont work, headlights dont work.

I had the xtreme hid kit from xenondepot in my Jeep, no issues at all and came with everything needed. I wouldn't bother with the highs unless you use them alot.
