Re: IPhone 4 and IOS 7

4S, iOS 7.0.4 working as it should.

By problems, you haven't said what the exact problem is, or what version of iOS 7 you have.
Is Uconnect up to date too?

Re: IPhone 4 and IOS 7

I've got 7.0.4 on a iphone 4, and basically I cannot use any of the music functions from either the steering wheel or touch screen. All telephone functions seem to be fine AFAIK

I'm glad to hear that your 4s is working because that's what my wife has. I'll have to check her phone out.

My ipod classic still works great, but I'm not going to let that sit in the Jeep all the time.

I am/was planning on getting whatever Apple comes out with in the fall, and fortunately I have the Sirius subscription and several thousand tracks on the HDD, so I consider this a first world problem for now.

Re: IPhone 4 and IOS 7

How do you have it connected BT or USB, is the iPod connected the same way?

Re: IPhone 4 and IOS 7

ipod classic is usb only, but iphone 4 fails to repond ( again, just music ) when connected via USB or BT

I will try to reboot my phone and try again. I' will also try my wife's iphone 4s, and this weekend, I will get a chance to check with my brother's ipone 5s

Everything was working great for me until I upgraded from 6.whatever to 7.0.4

Re: IPhone 4 and IOS 7

Delete the phone from the system and car from phone, then pair them again.

Great idea. I'll try that when I go to lunch and report back. (3-4 hours from now)

Re: IPhone 4 and IOS 7

It's working !

I not only un-paired my phone from the Jeep, but I also rebooted my phone.

I think the upgrade to 7 .0.4 was the original culprit, but it took 2.184, unpairing AND rebooting to fix things.

Thanks for the suggestions !

Re: IPhone 4 and IOS 7

from personal experience dealing with the iPhone 4 and iOS7, i have come to the realization that it is garbage. Loading time is dreadfully slow and it is incredibly laggy. I recently upgraded to the iPhone 5S and no longer experience the lag. It could be what I just mentioned.
