i have the same problem, i read somewhere, i cant remember where but it is because they are leds instead of regular bulbs, but it is because somewhere it stores some power after you turn the bulbs off.

So if you wait a few minutes not sure how long, but they do turn off completely. Your other option is to install a resistor.

Unless you sit in your car and not touch anything you can watch them turn off, or go up to your car after its been sitting and look inside(dont hit the unlock button)

Mine still do it (I have a WJ) But they do go off completely eventually.
