cacjeep is on a distinguished road
liberty temp rises no heat

2005 liberty -Heat worked, car went all dark, then overheated. changed thermostat and waterpump, temperature gauge rises but there is no heat. Had alternator checked out ok.

Not sure if all of the ventilation dampers are vacuum controlled. I had this happen to me in a 95 S10...ended up being a broken vacuum line.

sounds like you got an airlock. try bleeding the cooling system to get the air out.
