Did this start happening while it was raining a lot and does it come on and off intermittently? If so then it's an easy fix and in fact there is a TSB for it. Just remove the locking latch and you will notice that one of the terminals that plugs into it sits straight up. What happens is water is leaking in from the molding and it drips right down onto that plug and corrodes it. That plug just happens to be the one that tells you if the door is open or closed. Just clean it up real good, I went as far to seal the whole locking assembly in a ziplock bag.lol just so that the water dripping down won't do that again. I have been free of this problem not for 9 months.
