My tj tranny

I went to the store. Came out wouldn't start. Had it towed to a garage. It ended up being a connector on the tranny. Problem is, I was told by 3 different garages that the part i needed was on backorder. 660 People are waiting on this part. Its a '98 wrangler tj. Talking to a jeep car lot they said after the big government bail out the part isn't being produced. The garage went on line and the 98 tj sport had 2 trannies that came out. Mine isthe rare one. They checkex all over maine and they cannot find a wrangler like mine in a junk yard or autopartz place whom can find a wrecked out tj i the state of maine. Factories aernt making them either. How do i go about finding the part i need if the parts place or dealerships can't find it

Re: My tj tranny

Welcome to the garage.
Which transmission does it have and which part do you need?
