Need help on plug identification WK 06

I relocated the Ipod from the glovebox and I realized that there was a free female plug floating around (literally). Nothing connected to it which just does not sit right. The wire in question comes from behind (and on top) of the glove compartment.

I quick look did not show any evident connectors in which it would have been plugged but it also sowed that the wiring underneath had been previously played around with ... does anybody know what this plug is ?

Re: Need help on plug identification WK 06

Are there any numbers on it or on the yellow one it's wires are coming from? Can you see what the wires (connected to the yellow one) are connected to?

Re: Need help on plug identification WK 06

Thanks a million to both of you. My wife just pointed out that we never had a light in the glove box. I never noticed and she never minded so that's something to look into. I hope that's it.

Escape it that's not it I'll get back to you on the wire details.

Thanks again for taking the time .
