New 2014 JGC Altitude - lopsided suspension
This is my first post to the forums. Hopefully I'm posting this in the right place.
I purchased a new Black Altitude a week ago. I didn't notice anything out of place when I viewed and test drove it at the dealer, but when I got it home and parked it in my garage, I noticed it looked lopsided and the wheel well space above the tires looked different side to side. I took measurements and discovered the drivers side was sitting 3/4" lower at the back and 1/2" lower at the front. I took it to a different parking garage and confirmed the measurements were the same.
I took it to the dealer and they confirmed I was correct, but they said they couldn't find anything wrong and there were no adjustments they could make. They said they phoned Chrysler and were told I should drive it a few thousand more kilometres to see if the suspension settles in. It already has almost 2,000 kilometres.
Has anyone else had a suspension lopsided like this from the factory? I't just the standard suspension, no air.
Is this something that could level out or settle in over time? It doesn't make sense to me.
