Question new rims w/o Tire press. system causing light

Hey everyone, new to these discussion boards, but I just got 20" rims on my 06 Cherokee ltd and the new rims dont have the tire press system and so Im getting the service tire press. system light constantly. Is there anyway of just clearing this permenantly?

Nope! Maybe pull the fuse. I have the same issue. the TPMS I have is for the wrong year WK I would have looked into the fuse thing but I planned on ordering the new TPMS just never got around to it. LOL

My Tacoma was the same way with no real way to disable the light. What we used to do with that was to take the sensors and put them inside a "football".
Take 2 3" PVC caps and glue them onto a short length of 3" pvc tube with all the sensors inside wrapped in bubble wrap except for one. Use one single sensor with a hole drilled in the end of one of the pvc caps. Air the "football" up to 30psi and tuck it away.
I know it's kinda ghetto, but it's simple and it works. Total cost of about $10 too.

Take the sensors out of your stock rims and have them install them in your new ones. This is what I did for my 20's, I also have 24's and you can't put the sensor in those being that the tire is a low profile tire and if I hit a bump just right i would crush the sensor.
