Re: Over ride aero mode

aero mode lowers my 2015 summit both front and back almost an inch. iv measured it on multiple occasions both in and out of sport mode which as we know automatically puts the car in aero mode from the start. that almost 1" difference throws off the level of my rig. frustrated! is there no way to disable Aero mode?

Re: Over ride aero mode

level your rig in aero mode thats where its front and rear end geometry is set to run, run it out of that at the risk of scrubbing your tires out very fast!!!

Re: Over ride aero mode

Why wouldn't it be ok? Im a bit stumped of your way of thinking..the cars steering geometry is optimized in sport mode trying to drive at speeds lifted is sure to wear out tires. I gad this varified today with another wheel alignment check when i fitted another set of new tires

Re: Over ride aero mode

Quadralift continually levels the vehicle as you drive.

Re: Over ride aero mode

re hauling in sport mode, i only ask because i know sport mode does more then just lower the vehicle but im not exactly sure what "more" it does., i was hoping someone here could tell me if it is ok or recommended to haul in sport mode But again my biggest goal is to adjust and set up my weight distributing hitch and trailer all at the same ride height and not worry about the possible consequences when my jeep lowers and rises as it goes in and out of Aero mode. those weight distribution hitches put a hell of a lot of torque on the car and trailer, and they are mandatory for loads over 3500. There have been a lot of issue with the Quad lift system and i cant help but wonder if thats the cause of some.

Re: Over ride aero mode

Aside from going into aero mode, sport mode holds lower gears longer. That's a good thing when pulling a trailer.

Re: Over ride aero mode

I ran with a 7100 Pound Trailer on a Summit. I set the height based on the truck in aero mode but I always allowed it to automatically adjust. Best handling tow rig to date for me.

I used Equalizer too so solid bars not chains.
