P0406 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor A Circuit High

I recently got this code and the check engine light. It says it is related to the egr valve, and possibly needing replaced.

As some of you know i recently had exhaust work done to fit my srt conversion, and ive been having an issue with it ever since it was done.

I posted this problem here: http://jeepgarage.org/showthread.php...=exhaust+issue

Could this issue with my exhaust, whatever it might be, have caused this egr valve issue, If so i dont want to replace the egr valve and have it go bad again

With the new egr issue, Does anyone have any idea what the original issue with my exhaust could be??

Since there is connection between the egr and exhaust I think you need to check out on the whole thing again. Good luck !

Re: P0406 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor A Circuit High

For your original problem check and carefully clean your throttle body.

Replace your egr after the engine has sat overnight.
