Panic alarm goes off by itself

The other night I was coming out of a motel when the panic alarm went off on my Grand Cherokee. I don't have a burglar alarm system. Just the panic alarm that's operated by the key fob. I thought it must have accidentally got pushed while in my pocket, but I hadn't moved in a way that would have likely made it happen. Then just now while sitting at my computer, the horn started beeping again. I know I didn't push the button this time.

Anyone else had this problem? Is there a fix for it?

Re: Panic alarm goes off by itself

This may be the factory alarm triggering. There was a TSB for this issue a while ago but not for a 2015... Possibly a bad hood sensor.

This vehicle doesn't have a factory alarm.
