2015 Jeep GC - My wife went to a drive in movie with the kids. Packed lot, and when she left for popcorn, she locked doors with key fob. When she returned, opened door with door handle (proximity key) and the panic alarm went off. She could not stop it with the fob. After several embarrising moments during jurassic world, ha, she was able to start the jeep and drive off while the alarm was still going off. It finally shut off after a few seconds of driving.
So if the fob is recognized by the vehicle to open door and start jeep, why does it think it's being stolen?
