Power steering fluid leak from frame?

I have a pretty good leak on my WJ. It only leaks bad when turning the wheels(makes sense). I got under there and had somebody turn the steering wheel back and forth. The fluid started dripping pretty good from the sway bar bracket where mounted to the frame below the steering gear box. It is not running down the outside of the frame , it's as if from inside the frame? The mount bolts for the gear box run through the frame, could the gear box be cracked? I would appreciate any help.
Thanks,
Brett

Re: Power steering fluid leak from frame?

Difficult to tell from here what the problem is, but sofar never heard of a cracked steering gearbox. If you donīt see any leaking hose, nor pump or reservoir (or hydraulic cooling fan, if your jeep has it), then only left over is the steering gearbox.

Re: Power steering fluid leak from frame?

Fixed it. It turns out it was the high pressure line, don't know how the fluid was getting to where it was dripping, but all fixed.
Thanks
