Re: Quadra lift

5 months in nasty winter, no problems so far.

Here's a great detailed description of the system. Understanding something is usually the best way to make decisions about it. Lifted, no pun intended , from the online Jeep bible:

Re: Quadra lift

No problems with it, but I think it's more a toy than a functional item.. a toy that will be expensive to fix when it breaks.

Re: Quadra lift

Just over a year with no issues.

To some it may be a toy, to others of us it is a tool and was purchased with an intended purpose.

I actually go off-road with my JGC that's why I got the Trailhawk with Quadra lift and Quadra drive.

Also, Aero mode is nice on the interstate and with parents and in-laws, park mode is appreciated.

It's a gimmick.. what utility can a 3 inch lift actually serve?

Re: Quadra lift

If you have to ask then it isn't for you. I guess you wouldn't see the advantages that deflating tires several psi has on the trail either. RRO's lift kit is 2.5" and many Jeep owners see its benefits for their uses as well.

Re: Quadra lift

I haven't had the opportunity to get off road outside of a dirt parking lot yet. But that's the plan.

But, on the opposite side of the coin, the parking height is a distinct benefit. Lowering the truck at parking makes it that much more accessible and comfortable for myself and my wife.

There's no way I could have a lifted truck as a daily driver. This gives me the best of both worlds. And if "aero mode" nets me a few points of MPG, I'll take it.

So, it's no toy for me. It's one of my favorite features on the truck.

I wouldn't have been able to get up my old driveway without it. Sure, it seems like a pain to some, but it also kept those people people away from my house!

If you're a mall crawler and don't need it, it's a gimmick.

If you do, it's utilitarian.
