Re: replace tire sensor

Per post #6, dealer programming is required for the spare. The road tires have transponders in the wheelwells that send signals for their location, the spare tire does not have a transponder and therefore must be programmed by the dealer.

But the speare just changed for sometime and I bring back the same tire to its place
its just like when you replace your road tire with speare and then you bring it back after fixing the original.

am I right ?

Ok, so you are saying that you have the original spare sensor in the spare, the sensor that before was working ok? If so, next try temporarily putting 40 psi in the spare, then bring it back down to standard psi.

just the negative terminal on the battery. Not sure what you did last time....but removing the negative terminal will not cause that.
