Speaker pop

I have a new 2015 grandcherokee summit and sometimes when the drivers door is unlocked then opened ther is a loud pop from the speaker on the door. This also happened when the rear door was opened. Recently when ignition was turned off loud pop from rear door speaker, has anyone experienced this?

Re: Speaker pop

I have this too but it sounds like it's coming from sub woofer in rear. No apparent cause not even related to doors opening etc

Re: Speaker pop

The speaker pop was so loud it could have been the rear sub woofer. It hasn't happened again since I posted the problem.

I'm experiencing this too. 2015 Summit. It's subtle but there must be an electrical issue somewhere.

Ok so when I open a door and wait a bit for the dash to go out then close the door the dash activates and the pop happens. It seems to be the speakers on the driver side. Weird

Maybe mine will go away too. How long did you have this issue before it went away.

I heard the pop about a half dozen times over a three month period about 3000 miles.

Re: Speaker pop

Speaker pop came back again, I'm not sure yet but it may have something to do with using SD card for music.
