Squeak from front suspension...

When i hit the gas and the weight transfers from the front to the back i get a squeak or creak from the front suspension. is it the sway bar bushings or is is the sway bar links? it sounds like something needs to be greased...

Re: Squeak from front suspension...

On my old WK, the front bushings went bad.

Then 20k miles later it came back. And another set of bushings.

Re: Squeak from front suspension...

if its all factory no greaseable so will be worn.

could be either bar mount or end link. lots of other bushings under there too.
the diff has 2 rubber mounts. then you have the tie rod ends they would probably click more than squeek.

Re: Squeak from front suspension...

bwoody links a very nice to have, not necessary. the obvios thing is most likely factory links.

also if you do bwoody, they DO need grease periodically.

Re: Squeak from front suspension...

you mean sway bar bushings right? Energy suspension SAYS they have them but they do not work. our stock are way bigger and the ES dont fit. I made a set greasable that came with my addco front greasable. rear ones are available greasable.

would they make noise when you hit the gas and the weight transferred front front to back?
