I just took delivery of my Jeep Cherokee 2015 that has the start/stop feature. I live in the northeast and it has been pretty cold. Lately i have only driven 3-4 miles at a time. Start/stop never triggers. It says start/stop not ready charging battery (battery reads 14.4v). I heard that you have to drive at least 5 miles for the start/stop to become available. And that if it using the heat it might not trigger. Do you guys know the specifics about when the start/stop becomes available?
