Re: The whole jeep shakes

Google "death wobble" and check your track bar. It's very common

Can very well be the problem. Also check all the steering rod ends for play, by putting a finger on them, while someone moves the steering wheel back and forth. Take care that no part of your body can be pinched somewhere.

Re: The whole jeep shakes

Did you check them while someone is moving the steering wheel back and forth?

Re: The whole jeep shakes

Death wobble is the name code for your problem,
It feels like Mr Richter him self took over your steering... I know !
Read about it and you will understand why and how... Then, start checking all the steering components,
Don't forget it can happen even due to a tired steering shock... Or a loose screw.
I had it on a brand new 2014 jk after installing an aev lift kit, nobody found the solution so i took the kit off and everything came back to normal ! The problem in my case was that the kit had by their mistake different rate springs on right vs. left....
