tpms question

So i have the srt rims installed, but i didnt include the tpms sensors. Normally the check tire pressure light just stays on constantly, but after i took my car in to be serviced the light now flashes for awhile then turns off for a while then comes back on and flashes. i looked it up in the manual and it says something about resetting the system, not sure what that means though. does it matter if i just leave it or should i get it checked out? thanks for the help.

Re: tpms question

It is as simple as you think it is... the flashing is indicating a fault, and that fault is that there are no sensors Your just fine.

Re: tpms question

Flashing indicates a fault, a solid on means you likely have a low tire (but may also indicate a fault). This way the customer knows that if its on solid they need to check their tire pressures as that may be all that is required... if all tire pressures are good then diagnosis may be required.

A fault can be no signal recieved by one or more tire pressure sensors by the wcm.
