Uconnect doesnt recognize a usb flash card

I am trying to upload some music on my uconnect radio. Everytime I put the usb stick in, the radio doesnt recognize it. Anybody ever had this issue? And what are the solutions.
Thank you in advance

Re: Uconnect doesnt recognize a usb flash card

I've had this problem before. It's nothing to do with your stereo, it's the USB stick. Plug your stick into the computer, go to computer, or my computer, depending on operating system. Find your USB stick, right click on it. Go to "Format", click on it. Under "File system" it should read FAT32 (Default). If it says anything else, like NTFS etc, the system won't read it. Check the square beside "Quick Format" and click on Start. This will reformat your USB stick to FAT32. BUT BEWARE - YOU WILL LOSE ALL INFO ON YOUR STICK !!!!!! So make sure you put your files into another folder so you can put them back on later. Hope this helps
