Unplayable Device after iOS7 Upgrade

I've never had any issue playing my iPhone 5 in my '14 GC Limited, until I upgraded my phone to iOS7 this week, and now plugging it in displays the above message on the 8.4AN screen. I can play via Bluetooth, bit not when plugged in. I'm running 13.48.3. Has anyone had a similar issue or does anyone have a suggestion?

Update:

First, I had no media/music on my phone at the time of issue, as I wiped it clean when I upgraded to ios7.

I jailbroke the phone last night, and voila...my music is now accessible, after loading it, of course. I don't know what the JB permitted in this regard, but I'm all good with it.

Apple added something to their iOS7 software that prevents aftermarket chargers/plugs from working. Jailbreaking it likely took care of that for you! I had similar issues with an aftermarket radio that has an iPhone dock, it didn't want to work until mine was jailbroken either.
