Valve Cover Gasket Leak?

2014 JGC 5.7 Hemi. Just had an oil change Monday; went with 5w20 Mobil 1. Bought the Jeep with 27k Miles in April, now has 42k.

Can anyone confirm what this is? This is on the passenger side of the block, if you're facing the car from the front, to the right of the dipstick:

Re: Valve Cover Gasket Leak?

Some oil that dripped off the dipstick when they checked the oil? What did it feel like?

Valve Cover Gasket Leak?

I'm hoping that is it. When I wiped it off, it didn't feel like it had any "weight" to it. Just looks like it's coming from the valve cover, which concerns me. Going to check again tomorrow after work. No puddle or drip in the driveway.

Re: Valve Cover Gasket Leak?

Update:

Checked it last night after driving to work, running errands-no additional leaking, but that spot is still there, but more faded. Also, at the bottom of that part of the block where the drip trail is, it looks like whatever it was is now hanging off a bit-kind of like when excess glue hangs off of the edge of something. Not sure if oil does that. Thoughts?
