I can't get this to play on my iphone or iPad. Can you send it via email to me if I shoot you my address. Or is there another way to post it somewhere? Would like to compare the noise.

Yeah this is about the bracket that every one is talking about this will give you a very tinny type metallic noise when it happens I've removed quite a few of these but the grand i have does not have it only certain production dates do

I wish I could figure out how to post my video of the noise.... wait... I think it uploaded.
The bulletin he's referring to is 13-041 and is the rrt for the steering column bracket that causes the metallic rattle my problem vehicle is outside of the production date for this tsb and is not equipped with it .

Re: vibration /rattle noise 2014 gc laredo

i have the same issue.
When the infamous vibrating bracket was removed, there was no noise for a while. Then the new vibrating noise appeared...

Re: vibration /rattle noise 2014 gc laredo

Hello everyone. I currently have a 14 Grand Cherokee with a light resonating noise in dash area (from center left area). I have contacted STAR center about this issue. I am told that there has been very few concerns on this, but the issue is the purge line under hood may be contacting the heater core tubes. This IS NOT a metallic sound, but rather a plastic type sound. The bracket sound that was mentioned earlier usually sounds like a telephone bell ringing (I'm the originator of that TSB). Anyway, I have found that this tubes (in my case) are inface touching one another. I have yet to figure a way to keep them apart. Will keep you all informed.
