Its going back on wed. I will let them know about this..
I found this myself and had bad signs of it. I put a hose of decent thickness. It did help with that part. The noise is intermittent now and less frequent. I had also went under the car and move shields and insulted area i found to make the noise during my 'tap test'. There were a bunch. It is intermittent, but still there.

Re: vibration /rattle noise 2014 gc laredo

Have an assistant start vehicle and put in reverse (foot on brake to keep from moving), Bring RPM up until you hear the noise (at that point hold RPM steady).Lightly press downward on the heatercore outlet at the firewall. If this is the cause, the noise will go away. In my case.....this was the cause of the noise (heater core tube vibrating against the sheet metal of the firewall).

The heater core tubes are to the left rear of the engine (behind the plenum). If you need a photo...text " heater" to (912)398-1977 and I'll send you a photo.

I think i have the same problem. Why is the tube vibrating only in gear and not in park?

That was my question to the tech's also.... It didn't do it in park, reverse or ,neutral,,
Just in drive most times @ a slow exceleration ,mainly around 12-1500 rpms. At tines I could make the noise holding my foot on the brake, and bringing rpm up while in gear ,,,, (if you rev too high the vehical will automatically, lower rpm)
I don't know if you have read most of the threads ,but it took 6 trips back to dealer ,,and noise was never resolved ,but man did they always say they found a loose cable or a harness that was not secure,, maybe that's there go to line,,lol. Or I got jeep built on a Friday ,,,
Anyway I ended up contacting Chrysler ,who contacted dealer and I guess basically put a fire under their arses ,,, on the 7th trip in I told them I didn't want it back until it was found ,fixed and proven ,,they kept it for 5 days and found that to be the issue.. and I must say ,,It isnow the quietest its ever been...... Good luck

Re: vibration /rattle noise 2014 gc laredo

Truckie, is it possible for you to give me your Jeep dealer's telephone and service tech's name so my local Charlotte dealer can call him to cut to the chase in order to fix this problem once and for all? Again, I appreciate your help with this annoying issue.

I have a feeling this is going to be a very frustrating problem to try ands resolve. I need help....
I have the exact same problem. Mine is the plastic sound, not the metal sound. My Jeep has been at the dealership for 2 weeks and they are unable to fix it. It only happens at low RPM's, specifically noticeable in gears 1-3. First they thought it might be a steering bracket, so that was replaced. Then they thought it was a heater hose, so they wrapped it in foam tape. Any thoughts?

It turns out that a heater hose running along the firewall in back of the engine can come in contact with the trans vent tube which has a jiggle valve at the top.

Yes, 2014 V6. They think they have found it (again). They are now saying it was an A/C line. I'll have to check it in the morning, but not too confident.

Re: vibration /rattle noise 2014 gc laredo

Hello all, any updates on the mysterious vibration noises seemingly coming from the left of the instrument cluster?

As others have posted, my vibration occurs on rough roads or at times at a certain RPM.

I have a 2014 diesel, purchased a week ago, so there was no metal bracket to remove.

Re: vibration /rattle noise 2014 gc laredo

The diesel may have a different issue entirely, not really sure. My issue is still there. 2 trips to the dealership and over 2 weeks in the shop. Beyond frustrating
