Water in spare wheel well

Hi,

I am getting rain water in the spare wheel well on my 4.7 WJ, it has been parked for a week and I had dried it out before the rain.
The edge of the cargo carpet is wet but not the top side has anyone come across this problem before, by the way I have only just bought this jeep .

Thanks.

Re: Water in spare wheel well

Check the condition of the seal of the liftgate and flipglas. Water could also enter via the rear light assy´s when the seal overthere is damaged.

Re: Water in spare wheel well

i had to use some caulking in my WJ. it would leak from the spare well and from one of the rear windows.
