WH / WK Front diff bushings
I have a 06 GC Diesel. Since I got it about 2 years ago I've had the clunk while moving the shifter which I have diagnosed as bad diff bushings. I haven't physically looked at the diff bucking around while someone moves the shifter but I can see the bushing above the drive shaft is cracked. Have bushings on order.
More recently I have noticed that when turning a high steering angles there's a lot of clunking and knocking from the wheel area and a bit in the transmission tunnel. Can anyone confirm that this would be another symptom of bad diff bushings and not another problem? Car seems fine driving straight line apart from the minor knocking associated with bad diff bushings when accelerating abruptly.
