Angry WJ - Brake lights not working...

This morning I noticed that the WJ brake lights were not working (including 3rd brake light). Parking lights and turn signals work fine. I only had time to check the fuses, including #23 which is the fuse for the brake lights switch. They were all ok. Didn't have time to check for other things.
I heard the brake switch is above the pedal. I looked but couldn't identify it. Anyone has a picture what it looks like? I think that might be it but does anyone else have any other suggestions?

Thanks!

Re: WJ - Brake lights not working...

The guy at my 4x4 shop said this has happened twice to his WJ. He took it to the stealership and they fixed it. I can't remember what it is, but I'm going to tee him later today or tomorrow. I'll keep you posted when I find out what it was.

Nice!!

So, It's not the same problem he had with his WJ, his was a circut board issue.

I would say to check the switch at the petal itself. I say that because of the 3rd brake light being out too. Shouldn't be hard to test at all with a multimeeter.

Yup, it was the brake switch. I order it on Friday and got it delivered today at 4:50 and 10 minutes later I had it installed and everything is good again.
Thanks!
