1993 grand cherokie

ok here is the deal i have a 1993 grand cherokie with the 4.0 it has 218,000 miles on it now some of them hard most of them hwy miles i do tow with it i put a 800.00 tow package in it about a year ago 4 core trans cooler the works

i have been looking around and have not yet seen it i have any of you ever seen one of these go 500,000 miles ? mine runs like it was new and just will not die

I personally havent but anythings possible. I know there was a guy from the other site that had a jeep with quite a few miles on it and it was still running strong. Why are you worried about it your not there yet.

well i was thinking of putting a racho lift in it i am on the look out for a lund moon viser ill be damb if i cant find one that dont cost over 500.00 i have a set of 31x10.5 bfg for it that i will be putting on it later on this week

Do you have a rebuilt tranny? I would be concerned about it plowing but I dont know what kind of condition its in.

I had a 93 XJ with over 300k miles on it when I got rid of it a few years back. Same 4.0L engine and AW4 tranny. neither the engine or the tranny had been touched except for routine maintenance and a water pump or five. That drivetrain is as close to builtproof as anything to ever where the Jeep name. The only thing standing in your way of reaching 500k miles would be rust and or boredom with the vehicle. :D

yes i am plowing with it but i had to special order a plow sub frame for it that will bolt to the suspension not to the frame and the damn thing is on back order they are telling me 6-12 weeks winter will be over by then lol so i think i am going to tell them to give me my money back and go with a snow way plow there is only a few places that you can get a plow for the Cherokee and they are not cheep
