Re: 3.5'' iron rock lift

I just updated my suspension lift to the 3.5 IRO. stock arms on 31's. Can prob fit 32's. More than sufficient for daily driver and some wheelin.

Re: 3.5'' iron rock lift

Looks good. What shocks did you go with (I'm regretting my Nitro 9000s; I probably should have went with the 8000s or the DT8000s)? I have the Benchmark lift from them with lots of upgrades (see my sig). With 2 coil isolators stacked up front, I have roughly 4.25" of lift up front and 4.5" of lift out back. I'm also running 31s and I had to trim the bumper cover for them. I think that has a lot to do with my IRO control arms being slightly longer than stock.

Re: 3.5'' iron rock lift

Honestly I currently have 5000 Ranchos and they are weak and bouncy. I had run gas shocks for several years and loved them. The first day the 5000's went in, I knew it was bad news. I need to replace now and I was looking at the nitro 9000's. I would prefer gas again. Why dont you like the 9000's?

Yes you would have to drop the T-Case, but only about 1" inch.

I don't think they have enough travel. They're currently the limiting factor in my suspension's travel. I should have opted for the Doesch Tech DT8000s that Iron Rock Off Road offers. It would have been worth the few extra dollars.

Re: 3.5'' iron rock lift

I've got some vibes up around 45 mph. Any faster or slower and I'm smooth. My rear pinion angle is slightly off, but that's nothing my adjustable upper rear arms can't fix, whenever I get the time to install them.
