no. not a 5.9. they're too rare to tamper with and I know a ton of them already have been.. keep it stock, it might never be a "collector" but there are plenty of Jeep fanatics out there that would say otherwise.

I will never lift it. I have the 1994 that is lifted already so it is all I need.

congrats on the purchase of a rare azz Jeep. what only 10K ever made?
I think it was 12,000 made.

I don't want to do any mods to the Jeep. I would like to keep it as close to stock as I can. I took the vent visors, mud flaps, and bug guard off of it yesterday. It has a trailer brake that I will be removing also. I plan on servicing the diffs, tcase, tranny and changing the engine oil this weekend, along with new plugs, wires, and air filter. I am going to order a new front track bar for it, and new balljoints and tierods and a new set of tires.

I am going to clean and undercoat the undercarriage and clay and polish the paint and maybe replace the front marker lens and that should have it close to perfect as I can get it.

jeepnjeep is just really nice
Re: Got the 5.9 home today!!! Pics

Perfect. Maintain it well, just keep up with it and enjoy your rare Jeep. My son has one but it has around 180,000 miles on it. Runs really good still but needs a little work.

Re: Got the 5.9 home today!!! Pics

good luck, remember to add an additive to the diffs. i even add it to the front just becuase it'll quite it down if it is noisy. mine is never noisy, i just add it cause i usually have it in bottles layin around. Valvoline ATF+4 or (i use->) Napa Prem synthetic ATF+4. our 46REs and Hs dont like to drink anything else. Valvoline in the diffs too. i wont say what kinda oil i run because i'll get flamed rly bad on here, bahaha, but im sure you already know all this but w/e. whats done to the 94 1st gen? lift? tires? lockers? custom long arms?

The 94 has a 3.5 inch lift and 2 inch spacers. It has adjustable control arms and adjustable trackbars. No swaybars, rear axle is welded up. It has 32 inch mud brute tires. The 94 is like an old friend. It has been unstopable and never let me down. It is the reason I own 4 Jeeps.
