Manually pushing 242 tc into 4L from underneath
Is there a good way to do this? I've adjusted these linkages before, but I've also been able to get into 4L while *in* the Jeep instead of *under* it. On this one I can only get it into N from inside before I run out of room to pull the lever, so obviously the linkage needs adjusted. This also likely explains why my 4 full-time sometimes also behaves like 4 part-time.
I know you're supposed to be moving at 2-3 MPH when shifting into 4Lo, but what is the best way to move the transfer case lever from under the Jeep?
I'm hesitant to just go at it with a BF hammer.
