I am going to talk to summit racing about buying a new one they have the contacts. They are all over the net. what does no code mean on the scan

And did you try to start with shift lever in 1st instead of D?
No code means that no electrical faults or monitored faults are present. On the 5-45RFE transmission it can also show slipping clutches, but i donīt think that this is monitored on the 42RE.

IDK how helpful this is but i know on RE transmission it has electric solenoids. They may be acting up
