Re: need help asap

Glad I could help. I believe that mark is 185-193* or somewhere around there. You should be fine running at that temp. If you have glass coverage on your insurance you can get the windshield replaced free, and most glass places will come to you and fix it. Not sure what you're referring to by a 3875?

Cool Re: need help asap

not sure about insurance!!!! anyway the 3875 is the super chip programer ,,,does multiple things but mostly it will let you run 87 octane by retarding you timeing ,,also the hp tune gives you 47hp and 60ftlb they sell new for around 300+ but sometimes i see them go used for 200 and less but man they get snatch up cause they work on almost all jeep ,,,the 98 5.9 has the most gain in hp and trq by far of any of them ,,the reason i asked is cause some jeep models have a tune on it to adjust when you fan comes on ,,i just didnt know what if anyting would be affected ,,probaly nothing,,,im not even sure if the 98s have that tune ,,anyway thanks again,,,and read up on the 3875 it does alot of crap man,,thanks again

Re: need help asap

OK, if you're looking for a tuner go SCT you can get 3 tunes for $250-300 plus it keeps your factory tune stored so you can put it back if need be. Or if you're doing crazy mods you can get unlimited tunes for around $400-$450. Not sure if he is here or not but contact hemifever over on thespeadfreaks.net he has great customer support and can build tunes to you specific mods and needs.

Re: need help asap

You can get any tune with the SCT that you want. Hit this guy up and talk to him, I've heard nothing but good stuff about him. http://thespeedfreaks.net/showthread.php?t=725 Yep love the fox bodies! I had an 88 LX hatch that I had done a bunch of engine work to. I now have a 90 LX notch back, just under 300k, all the mods I've done to it are in my sig. It's gonna need some TLC sometime in the future, that's when I'll build a healthy 347 for it!

Re: need help asap

awsome sar love the coupes ,,i had a white 87 with the grey and yellow saleen stipe and 93 cobra wheels on it loved that car,,,,is that a fake saleen frt bumper on yours cant realy tell,,,,i like a 347 but i had some friends in roanoke that ran DSS 331 short blocks in thiers with a ton of spray like 275 300hp worth and never had a problem ,,,its hard to build a motor cheaper than what they will mail u one for ,,,they use damn good parts and fasteners,,,,,havnt read your mods do u have sub frame connecters ,,alot of people over look these ,,its the first thing i do to a fox also a $30 air bag fr summit in the rear passengerside spring realy helps 60ft times ,,i have a ton of friends that run some pretty serious 5.0s so if you need a part holla they may have one

No it's not a saleen, I don't know what it is. It was on the car when I bought it and I have never seen another one that looks like it before. Yah it's got sub frame connectors. It had a strut tower brace on it also but when I put the 93 cobra intake on it the brace didn't fit. I'll keep you in mind if I need any parts, thanx.
