Hi all , ive gone over a few threads but am no wiser ! , all doors except drivers lock and unlock , same for windows , also power mirrors are a no go , at first i thought no power to drivers pcm , as no c-locking too , but rear window and door work on drivers side using rear buttons and i think its not a power issue ? , any ideas ? , cheers.
Hi again , pulled door cover off and undid the connectors , no power ! , reonnected all and only back door and pax side switches worked , looked inside at fuse box , probed around , nothing seemed amiss , then finally gave the pcm connector a good shake and walla! power back on ..Not sure if that was it but expect a bad earth , even though i gave it a shake to begin with without result .A nybody suggest how to secure the pcm connectors better? , i did some bush wacking a week ago must of loosened it , cheers
Some folks install washer between the PCM & body (?). Lots of threads online, search bad PCM. Solder joints are probably going out/cracking. New PCM in the U.S. is about $250 USD, good luck.
