Radio speaker separation issues

Anyone have experience fixing speaker separation with this factory radio? There is a "joystick" toggle to select which speakers get power. I only get full output from the front tweeters and partial from the front doors. The rear speakers require almost full volume to hear at all. I feel like the "joystick" control is the problem and wonder if there is anyway to clean it? Can the radio be opened up to access those contacts?
