Rear Bench problem - Help!

HI Guys

Just a quick bit of help, if possible....

I have been a tad ham-fisted with the bottom of my rear bench, and manged to rip BOTH pull handles right off the seats, so now can't fold them forward or take them out....

Does anyone know any way to get the seats out, so that I can get them fixed?!?!?!?!?!?!!?

Cheers...

I think you're pretty much out of luck as far as finding another way.. they have to be folded forward to unbolt it as far as I know. I'm sure you already know that the handles to lift them are attached to latches that unlock it, so you're going to have to find a way to pull that up. good luck!

Re: Rear Bench problem - Help!

are you talking about the bottom parts or the backs?? if its the back, just get new handles, they just slide right on to the splines on the round part. if the "handle" pulled out of the bottoms then peel back and push down the sides of the seat, youll see a "lip" tha you need to get onto with vise grips or equiv, and pull while pushing down on the seat, then pull the seat up..

Re: Rear Bench problem - Help!

It's the back handles of the bottom part of the rear seat...

The ones that are a 'leather' loop, which you would pull up to swing the rear seat forward...

Re: Rear Bench problem - Help!

The seats are on hinges, you should be able to wiggle out the cushion once you pull it forward. Those hooks are just sewn on, you should be able to pull the seat forward to take it out...
