Roger's ZJ

Introduced myself in the new members section, thought I'd toss a few action shots of my ZJ over the last few years... 95 ZJ Laredo Upcountry, 4.0, 42RE, NP242, D30/D35. I bought the ZJ in September of 06, right after we moved to Utah. I drive a mountain pass, and need 4x4 sometimes to get to work.

No lift, just 30" tires.

Again, no lift, 30" tires.

Right after the lift. 2"BB with Tuff Country front lower fixed arms, TeraFlex adjustable front uppers and Rubicon Express front trackbar with a tierod end instead of heim. I had it on 31s until recently, but went back to 30s for MPG...

New Years day 2009, First Run at 5 Mile Pass, Utah.

Overlooking Fishlake in Central/Eastern Utah...

Hooked to my 1972 Starcraft Starlite tent trailer project. Basic box with a tent. No water or power. Getting a new axle and subframe this spring. Need to fit bigger tires and wheels (probably 205/75-15s) to make it easier to take in rough locations. Can't imagine those little donuts would last too many miles of dirt roads.

Rattlesnake Trail, 5 Mile Pass, Utah.

White Rocks, West Desert, Utah.

A little winter camping with friends. Yes, it was cold. Below zero... We slept in our Jeeps, and ran the heaters as needed.

More reasonable camping. My English Mastiff loves camping. Just a 205# fuzzy sweetheart.

Still more reasonable camping.

The ZJ might not be as big as my Ranger project. But it sure used a lot more...

Hi, I'm Roger and I drive a ZJ.

Re: Roger's ZJ

It gets around. Still haven't made it to Moab but will sometime. Haven't been out much the last year due to knee replacement recovery and I broke my back and neck last summer. So I'm not sure I'll get out this summer until my doc approves me for more higher impact activity. Sure is a fun ride...

Hey do you have a tranny cooler on your rig? I see the pop up camper. Curious to see if you run a cooler gauge?
