Can the security system be deactivated on a 95 Grand Cherokee?
The security alarm is flashing the lights with no horn ant will start and shut down!
All the key turning and remote clicking has been used and failed.

Re: security system

Power lock the doors, try the key thing including @ the lift gate. Once the ZJ is running/starts, there is a purple wire w/yellow tracer you can ground out, or get to the security relay next to the glove box (must remove glove box/dash pad) and pull the relay WHILE THE VEHICLE IS RUNNING. Stress having the Jeep running so the computer doesn't think the security system is disabled. HTH.
