Re: Considering "elephant hose mod"

as long as you got no oil dripping down from the ccv through the shitty orange seal or have re routed the CCV. you should be fine.

... or you can do the resistor mod on the swril motor connextion. This is a new mod and its all over the net (C300 / MB MLs and Jeeps CRD forums). It might save you a limp-in mode surprise and a costy repair !! This mod is brand new thou, therefore future side effects are unknown for now :\

You could... but why let something fail when it doesn't have too? Plus keeping that CCV oil out of the intake and essentially the intercooler is always a bonus.

If your swirl motor does fail however this is a good solution...all it does is help control emissions apparently.
