Fitting Swirl Motor

How many hours would you find acceptable to have the swirl motor replaced????? Just had mine replaced and was thinking i would get a bill for $1200-1500 NZD..... Turns out they charged me 18 hours $2913.72 later it goes fine.... I just dont figure why they had to remove the exhaust manifold&turbo to do the job.

Hi
I think the normal quote for the replacement is 1800-2000 bucks
the cheapest solution was the resistor mod about 0.05 bucks.
there's quite a lot to dismount look the tuto for swirl replacement

Take care that the problem is linked to the turbo inlet orange seal, and until this problem is solved the swirl motor will fail soon or later again
