Re: glow plug #5

Ok done; swapped all six. Fairly straight forward except for number 6 (drivers side firewall) that is a pain to get too.

The plugs are BERU with a Mercedes part number on them - so I basically replace them with OEM.

Light is gone, but tester has option to go further and look for engine specific manufacturer codes and it still sees the cam position sensor. I have to look into if there is some way of erasing level 2 codes with that device and I just havent done it properly, or if the cam position sensor is still really showing up.

I did notice alot of oil residue sitting on in front of the turboport and read on another forum that the orange sleeve is an issue.

The noise still persists, but when I go in early next week, at least the rest of the codes and issues will be gone so they have to address the noise only.

Re: glow plug #5

Hey Burner been away for a bit ,check engine lite was the reason for the swap and I only changed #5 and the light went out after 4or 5 start ups.I did borrow a scanner to find the code.
