But with all those mods have you considered the impact of the regen cycles or were you able to disable that ?
Untill now I wasn't able to find the DPF map in the EDC16 but , I will get there

So for now I unplugged the MAF, I have a CEL but no regenerate...

I am doing the exhaust this week and finaly start with the SRT bumpers...

Do you know if unplugging the MAF sensor will affect the swirl motor operation ? If so I guess it will help the fuel economy. I've seen bunch of threads on a other forums with respect to a tune that keeps the swirl valves opens and prevents the swril motor for failures ?

I think the only function is for the DPF?
mount a catch can & block the EGR... The swirl will be fine

Oh yeah of course ... To prevent oil in the intake and protect the swirl motor, gotcha.

Right now P2149 code, so it just shuts down when it wants
Must be some wire harness problem, looking 2morrow into it.
The SRT8 frot, rear bumpers are on now and the side skirts.
Still have to mount the brembo's...
I now have 30.000 km of trouble free km now (code happened yesterday hauling my boat)
The gearbox is going to get smoked, am shure, would like to find a lock up switch method

I don't want black smoke, butit's very easy to make in the EDC16 as you can tune the parameter ...

Wow, when you do mods you get right down to the meat and potato's. I have always been a little intimidated with diesels especially with all the proprietary "secret" info that is kept under the manufacturers umbrella. I have the 3.0 CRD in 08 overland and just about everyone I know with a diesel truck remaps it, the avialability on this stuff for the mercedes 3.0 diesel seems rare. Best of luck on your mods, definitely worth following.
