mot time

Hi, just a little update on my 2003 grand cherokee wj 2.7 diesel. bought in july 2015 i have recently put it in for its mot, certificate of road worthiness. it passed with one advisory, worn drivers side tyre, near legal limit, tracking was way out causing said tyre to wear unevenly at its outer edge, needed lots of heat and elbow grease to shift the tie rods loose, gonna replace the tie rods with new after the christmas holiday. two new front tyres fitted, near side front passenger was used to replace the rubish spare what i had. put my original radio/cd player back in, i think it just looks much better than the modern sony i replaced it with, took that back and exchanged it for a smart sat nav which has voice commands. replaced all four suspension struts with billstein b4s, great deal from demon tweeks in wrexham north wales, 145.00 for all four. bargain has on line best prices i could find were around 60.00 to 70.00 each. still got the gearbox oil and transfer box oil to replace, while at demon tweeks i noticed they sold the diff oil with added friction modifiers, about twenty pounds per just shy of a litre or one united states quart. bought one of those will get another two in the new year. my partner bought me a set of window wind deflectors of off ebay has a christmas gift, from j&j automotive, waiting for a break in the weather to fit those, front passenger side electric window motor broke so need to remove that to see if i need a repair kit or full replacement motor, passenger window is wedged shut at the moment with a couple of inch by inch pieces of wood. thats about it for now, jeep has been great reliable transport so far and i love it. oh forgot to say we fitted a set of front rear parking sensors in blue that match my jeeps patriot blue colour very closely. purchased of ebay. working without any problems for three months now.
