We have just picked up our new Jeep Overland and the Sat Nav did exactly the same thing.
Have talked to and then emailed Jeep Australia. They have no idea when a fix will be available. By looking at other threads on this and other sites, it is not new.
So, not good enough. Selling a product with a known fault. And no time frame to fix.
I have just spoken with ACCC. It does come under their guidelines and they have given me some advice on how to proceed.
Don't sit there and accept bad service. It doesn't get better. I suggest you pick up the phone and call the ACCC (1300 302 502) and they will give you the details on the letter you need to write to Jeep, including the actual terms. Here is a link if you want to browse: http://www.accc.gov.au/content/item....0consumers.pdf
I have already written to Jeep today and I will proceed with the help of the ACCC. The more people who do the same, the better the end result for current and future Jeep owners.
Pity - everything else about our Jeep so far is wonderful. Heaven help us when something BIG goes wrong!
