Sway Bar Replacement
Has anybody had issues with their front sway bar?
I was experiencing a compression noise when I would travel over a bump or curb at slow speeds and did not notice this several thousand miles (~10,000miles now) back. Took my diesel Overland into the dealer today and they looked into it; apparently they will be replacing the front sway bar yet this is not a common part that needs replacing (so they claim) and I have to wait for two weeks.
Not a big deal but hope this in fact resolves the issue.
Does the sway bar come in a kit (I.e., bushings, link arms, etc.) or are those parts separate? Hope it solves the noise issues.
Also, had a small oil drip from the oil pan that I had them look into as well. The seal on the left timing cover had a leak....apparently that takes quite some shop labour time to replace so that will get done when the sway bar is in.
HOPEFULLY, these are my only issues!!
